Dear GES Families,

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year at Greenfield Elementary School! Teachers and staff have been busy preparing the school for an exciting year of learning and growth. We are looking forward to hearing about your summer adventures, connecting with returning families and meeting our new students.

I am very excited to continue in the role of Principal for this amazing school community. We truly believe that student success is best achieved when we work as a team. The team members here at the school will be utilizing research-based best practices and student data to help each child reach their potential. I ask for your support as part of the team by sending your child to school each day, and helping them to connect their classroom learning with the real life experiences. You can do this by encouraging reading for pleasure, discussing their school activities and sharing your use of skills in your work and home life. Other ways to strengthen the connection between home and school are to attend special events, join the Parent Teacher Organization or volunteer. 

Communication is a vital part of fostering a positive and effective home-school connection.  On a regular basis, you will receive our electronic Smores newsletter. You may also receive individual reports should there be a need to address academic concerns or unmet behavior expectations. Please also know we welcome communication from home via emails or phone calls should questions or concerns arise.
